Description

Growrilla's Oxy Ring Starter Pack is the kit to get started with the Oxy Ring pot, which combines solution oxygenation with top irrigation using a drip ring. Inside you will find the complete pot, fertilizers, a pH test, and a digital conductivity tester: everything you need to complete the first growing cycle.

What's in the kit

1. Single 19-liter Oxy Ring pot

  • Dimensions: height 33 cm, top diameter 30 cm
  • Capacity: 19 liters
  • Hailea ACO 2201 air pump
  • Level and drainage tube
  • 20 cm net pot
  • Drip ring system
  • Germination cube

2. Terra Aquatica Tripack Fertilizers (formerly General Hydroponics Flora Series)

Three 0.5 L bottles (Grow, Micro, and Bloom), a pH test, and a packet of pH down powder. Just add the fertilizers to the water following the chart, measure the pH, and adjust it with the pH down if necessary. The kit prepares approximately 500 liters of nutrient solution. It is good practice to check the pH every day.

3. EC66 digital tester

  • Measures conductivity and temperature with automatic temperature compensation (from 5 to 50 °C, β = 2%/°C)
  • Scale from 0.00 to 10.00 mS/cm, values easy to convert to ppm
  • Factory calibrated, manually recalibratable at 1 point via trimmer
  • Replaceable electrode
  • IP67 waterproof
  • Approximately 250 hours of continuous use with 3 1.5 V batteries included
  • Calibration solution included

How the Oxy Ring works

The air pump oxygenates the solution in the pot and, at the same time, makes it rise up to the drip ring that wets the substrate around the plant. This way, the roots receive water, nutrients, and oxygen even in the first weeks, when they do not yet reach the solution. The level tube shows you how much solution is left and is also used to empty the pot.

Estimate based on the crop's agronomic data: this is not a guaranteed yield for this system. Yield per plant is derived from the yield per m² and density given in the Plant manual.

Yields are indicative estimates and may vary with variety, environment, lighting, nutrition, planting density and system management.

Reviews

What our customers say

This product has no reviews yet. Yours can help other growers choose.

Customer reviews collected with Judge.me. Bought this product? Tell us how your system is doing.

Before you choose

Do I need soil?

No. Roots grow in water with dissolved nutrients, held by a clean medium such as rockwool, expanded clay or coco fibre, or suspended in the pot, depending on the system. No soil to carry or replace.

Is the pump noisy?

The pump works submerged in the reservoir: what you hear is mostly flowing water. The level depends on the model and where you place the system. If the kit goes in a bedroom, an office or a public venue, message us and we'll tell you how that model behaves.

Can I go away for a few days?

It depends on the reservoir size, how many plants you have and the season: mature plants in midsummer drink far more than freshly transplanted lettuce. Before leaving, top up the water and check pH and EC. For long absences, ask us and we'll assess your system together.

If it's not right for me, can I return it?

Yes. If you buy as a consumer, you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw without giving a reason, except for the exclusions provided by law. Return shipping costs are paid by you.

If I have a technical question, who answers?

Our technical support team: the first technical reply arrives within 24 working hours. Write to us at info@acquaponica.shop or on WhatsApp at +39 388 774 2990.
